SERVICES

Breaking Cycles, Building Joy

Counselling and Therapy

Therapy can be used to address a range of issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and family conflicts.

Our service supports children and adolescents up to the age of 25 through talking, play, and creative activities. We help them make sense of their feelings, overcome challenges, and develop healthier behaviours. We follow an Integrative approach, which means that we combine various therapeutic theories and methods to create a personalised approach for each individual based on each child’s unique needs. Our aim is to build emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place weekly. Parents may play a key role in the therapeutic process. They may be involved in sessions or receive guidance on how to support young people at home.

We offer an initial consultation to discuss your circumstances.

Reflective Parenting and Coaching

Parenting in today's world can be complex and challenging. With the greater awareness of mental health and our fast-changing digital society, we are increasingly parenting in a world that we did not grow up in. Many parents feel overwhelmed and isolated, unsure how to navigate their parenting fears and worries. Reflecting on one’s upbringing and discovering their parenting style while dealing with the day-to-day demands can be daunting.

Coaching can help parents understand their child’s behaviour and emotions.

We offer reassuring, supportive sessions to help parents explore their struggles, reflect on their upbringing, and understand their child’s behaviour. This work can focus on a specific issue or general exploration. Our services support parents through all stages, from pre-natal to adolescence, focusing on resilience and self-awareness to create long-lasting change.

These sessions aim to overcome challenges and make space for the joys parenting can bring.

Parent Groups and Workshops

We run parenting groups and workshops designed to inform and support parents. Using our knowledge of child development and therapeutic experience, we guide parents through various topics, such as adolescence, emotional outbursts, anxiety in kids, coping with change, and many more.

Held both in person and remotely, our workshops provide valuable information and strategies to help parents better understand what is behind their children's behaviour, how to prepare for certain stages of childhood and how to address challenges of parenting. It is also a space for parents to connect, share experiences, and lean on peer support.
